The Town of Harrison celebrated it’s Bicentennial in 2005. One of the goals of the Bicentennial Committee was to construct a gazebo in Crystal Lake Park. We need donations and volunteers to make this happen.
The estimated cost of this project is $18000.00. During the Bicentennial year, we received a generous donation of $7000 for the gazebo. The Bicentennial Committee set aside an additional $4500.00 making a total of $11,500.00 available for the construction of this project.
As you can see, we have a shortfall of $6500.00. We are determined to complete this project one way or the other. In the tradition & spirit of the Friendly Village, area contractors have committed to build this and have generously agreed to accept whatever we can pay them.
However, we would like to show that same Friendly Village Spirit and try to raise the balance needed to reimburse these dedicated community members for their hard work & generous spirit. We need help to make this happen.
Donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated and may be sent directly to the Town of Harrison, PO Box 300, Harrison, ME 04040. If you have questions or would like to volunteer your time & talents, please contact:
