Transfer Station Stickers

Transfer station stickers are available at the Town Office. Please bring your license plate number, which is required now. These stickers are valid for two years and will expire on December 31, 2008.

Dog Licensing-We are now licensing for 2008

If you are the owner/keeper of a dog over six (6) months of age, the State of Maine requires the dog to be licensed. This is the only way to control the spread of rabies, a deadly disease with no known cure. 90% of the dog license fee goes directly to fighting animal cruelty in Maine. All dog licenses expired December 31st.

Dog License costs: neutered or spayed $6.00 per dog with current certificate; all others will be $11.00 per dog. (If you are not sure about current rabies vaccinations the town clerks will be happy to help you).   Late charge is now $15.00 per dog.  On March 21, the list of unlicensed dogs will be given to the dog officer and at this point the late fee becomes $25.00 per dog.
